Horror Short Review: My Weird Neighbor (2025)

What if your neighbour wasn’t just weird but something far more sinister?

That is the question that My Weird Neighbour asks, a horror short from MKofficial. Where a man, late one evening, hears a knock on his apartment door. Opening it, he looks across the hall to see his neighbour peering back at him, and they seem a bit… odd.

Enough so, that it frightens the man, and he is left uneasy after closing the door. He’s safe inside his apartment though, right?

There’s a really strong whiff of familiarity here, and every beat (partially because of the music cues) can be seen coming a mile away. That being said, as obnoxious as that aspect is, this is a fun horror short with a solid creep factor. An entertaining three-minute watch that might make those more liable to jump, move in their seat a bit more.
